ART, SCIENCE, AND SUSTAINABILITY

For those who believe that the big questions deserve great spaces to be asked.

Designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava and housed in a building that is, in itself, a statement of intentions, the Museum of Tomorrow is one of the most intriguing and innovative cultural experiences in Brazil — and one of the most celebrated museum spaces in the world since its inauguration in 2015.

Raised above Pier Mauá, by the shores of Guanabara Bay, the building appears as a living creature that leans over the water with an elegance that impresses even before entering.

Inside, five grand axes — Cosmos, Earth, Anthropocene, Tomorrows, and Now — guide visitors through a scientific, philosophical, and sensory journey that questions the world we inherited and provokes reflections on the future we are building.

State-of-the-art technology, immersive installations, and a carefully constructed narrative transform complex concepts into visceral and accessible experiences — for children, adults, and anyone who still allows themselves to ask questions about the universe and the place we occupy in it.

Science, art, and architecture gathered in one place, with Rio de Janeiro as the backdrop. The Museum of Tomorrow does not offer answers — it offers something more valuable: the certainty that the right questions have the power to transform.

And no one leaves here without feeling, in some way, different from how they entered.
